Hello friends. Like I’ve said before, this is my author’s site. Here, I will be posting info about the books I’m working on, the release dates, and other interesting bits of information for my readers. But I want it to be more than that. I’d like this site to be something fun and useful for you, and something fun for me to write.

Best Way to Keep it Going

I’ve worked on other blogs, and I can tell you, these things are interesting to get up and running, but they quickly become tiresome. Soon the posts start coming less and less frequently, and eventually the blog withers and dies. That is not going to happen with this one. Why? Because I’m going to make it fun for all concerned, including me.

Now, in order to do that, I have to make posting here quick and painless. That means this blog will not be perfect. I am a perfectionist, but I’ll leave that kind of detail for my books. So if you run into some typos here, please forgive me. Many times, I will be posting a first draft of whatever I’m blogging about. I can’t afford to put an exorbitant amount of work into a simple post.

Time is Hard to Come By

The kind of time it takes to produce a flawless blog post is difficult to come by. That kind of painstaking work has to be reserved for my novels. Aside from writing my books, I also edit my own work, I do all the graphic design for the covers, and I do all the marketing too. That is an incredible amount of work when you consider all that needs to be done up until a successful book launch. And it doesn’t stop there.

I’m lucky that I enjoy and am good at every part of it. Many authors just want to write, and want nothing to do with cover creation or marketing. As you can see, doing all the work of a publishing company does not leave much time for blogging. So once again, if a comma is off or if you come across a typo, please, please forgive me.

Thank you, and fear not. I write a very clean first draft. I’m sure you won’t find too many mistakes here.
